Chat Creating

Chat Room

A Chat Room is a general chat that involves all members of the community. When new members join the space, they gain instant access to all currently available rooms.

Key Features

• Generated automatically upon the creation of a Space.
• Can solely be created by the Space Creator.
• Available through the Chats tab.

How to Set Up a Chat Room

Option 1
1. Press the "Create" button in the space menu.

2. Select "Chat Room".

Option 2

1. Go to the Chats Tab.
2. Press "Create Chat" and choose “Chat Room”.

Chat Room Setup

A modal window will appear, asking you to provide:

• Image
• Chat Room Name
• Description
• “Allow send messages” switch to manage who can post messages. \

Group Chat

A Group Chat is a private conversation that can involve chosen members of the community.

Key Features

• Can be created by either Creators or Members, based on space settings.
• Space Creators have the option to allow or disallow members from creating group chats.

How to Create a Group Chat

1. Go to the Chats tab.

2. Tap "Create Chat" and choose “Group Chat”.

Group Chat Setup

First, complete the details for the group chat:

• Image
• Group Chat Name
• Description

Then, select members from the Space member list to include in the chat.

Checklist

• Create Chat Rooms for whole community conversations.
• Create Group Chats for smaller, private discussions.
• Use the Create Chat button in the Chats tab or the space menu.
• Add an image, name, and description for any chat.
• Choose members for Group Chats.
• Manage chat permissions via the Allow send messages toggle.
